    Javad Khansalar is the founder of Antarsukha yoga and
    Kayavyuha yoga - a thriving Hatha Yoga school operating in Bangalore, India
    since 1998 to 2005.In 2006, Javad Khansalar relocated to Canada, where he
    established the Antarsukha yoga school of Hatha Yoga in Hamilton, Ontario.

    Javad’s students, some of whom are now spread throughout the world,
    enthusiastically attest to the high quality instruction offered in Asanas
    (postures),Pranayama (breathing techniques), Mudra (attitude), Bandha (lock) and
    Meditation techniques in addition to a formal study of yoga teaching techniques, diet
    and it’s effect on the mind and body.

    Javad is also a certified Yoga Theripist, and has worked in
    conjunction with medical practitioners for many years in the successful
    holistic treatment of a wide range of psychological disorders and
    physical illnesses ranging from fertility problems, asthma, diabetes, high
    blood pressure, arthritis, gastric and ulcer disorders to name a few.
    Based on his research and collaboration with doctors on the therapeutic aspects
    of Hatha yoga during pregnancy, Javad has also produced a unique
    video of yogic postures for pregnant women.

    Javad possesses the technical and spiritual foundations
    upon which anyone, young or old, can advance in their understanding of
    how yoga can facilitate vibrant health, an enhanced understanding of self,
    and a happier, more productive life. He has also worked with many organisations,
    conducting stress management and customised yoga workshops designed to
    enhance personal and corporate effectiveness.

    Javad has also developed specific workshops for elite athletes,
    dancers and Aikido practitioners designed to increase flexibility
    and stamina, treat injuries and enhance physical and mental
    performance. He has developed a close association with Aikido headquartered in
    Melbourne, Australia, as well as the Aikido Takemusu Federation of India,
    headquartered in Bangalore, India.

    In addition to having a regular yoga column in “The Economic Times”,
    a leading Indian newspaper, Javad is currently writing a book on
    the science and practice of Hatha yoga.


    Qualifications / Background:


    Founder of Antarsukha yoga and Kayavyuha yoga - a Hatha
    Yoga school operating in Bangalore, India. Obtained formal
    “Teacher Training Certificate” from Swami Kriyananda
    (president of Atma Darshan Yogashram), Swami Yogarathna
    and Swami Anandmangal of the Bangalore branch of the
    Bihar school of Yoga, India, in Oct 1991. In 1994 began
    an intense residential Teacher Training Course at the
    headquarters of the Bihar School of Yoga,
    located in Munger, Bihar, India - headed by
    Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati.

    Trustee of the Atma Darshan Yogashram (Bihar school of Yoga),
    located in Bangalore, India from 1998 to 2006, where he also conducted
    advanced yoga classes. Certified Yoga Therapist
    (Certificate issued by the Atma Darshan Yogashram, Bangalore, India.)


    Custom / Specialised Yoga Courses:


    Javad has also developed a number of customised / specialised
    yoga courses for the settlement counsellor- London Cross Cultural
    Learner Center (CCLC), located in London Ontario, Canada.

    The senior staff at the Indian Institute of Science - National
    Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), located in Bangalore, India.

    The teaching staff of the Canadian School of India, located
    in Bangalore, India.


    Advanced yoga students, including those undertaking
    the formal teacher training course at the Atma Darshan
    Yagashram in Bangalore, India.
    Advocates at the law firm M/s Cariappa & Co, located in
    Bangalore, India.


    Patients of Dr. S.N Murthy (general medical practioner) and
    Dr. R.L Kapur Ph.D.(psychiatrist), Mallige Medical Center, Bangalore,
    India in the treatment of patients with psychiatric disorders, who
    stated that :
